Weekly Update (August 26 - Sept 1)
The Update:
The second week is in the books! Thank you to all who auditioned for the tango and the solos. Please help us congratulate these individuals:
Movement 1 woodwind feature: Mia Chance, Nina Vasquez, Rafael Lebedenco, Wesley Hancock, Emmanuel Sanchez
Movement 2 saxophone feature: Rafael Lebedenco and Wesley Hancock
Movement 2 tango feature: Mia Chance, Skyla Richmond-Liggens, Brianna Salinas, Darwing Gonzales, Kevin Sanchez, and Lampard Ho.
Movement 3 trumpet feature: Darwing Gonzales
Update for our Vertical Raise Fundraiser: We have raised less than half of our goal at $4,718 total. The percussion section is in the lead with $1,025! This week’s incentive is an Ice Cream Social for the top 10 raisers during Thursday Ranger Connect.
We have our normal rehearsal schedule this week. As of now, we are scheduled to have a stadium rehearsal at Williams Stadium on Wednesday. One bus will shuttle from Naaman to Williams Stadium. Parents will pick up students from Williams Stadium after rehearsal at 7:00 pm. We will have our last Drill camp on Saturday.
Students, be prepared to go outside during A1 M/W/F and Monday after school rehearsal. Bring appropriate clothing.
Lastly, we have a Labor Day Parade + Rehearsal on Monday, September 2nd.

Supplemental Supplies
All members are required to bring the following supplies for band camp. These items will be used to feed and hydrate your students during the hot days of summer band.
Freshman: 2, 6 Gallons Gatorade mixes (Orange, Fruit Punch, Lemon Lime or Glacier Freeze) Bring TWO
Sophomores: 64 bottles of water (Size 16.9 Fl. oz)
Seniors: 1 pack of Nature Valley, 60 cts Granola Bars & 1 pack of Quaker 36 ct, Granola Bars

Reminder that the Remainder of our $200 band fee is due by band Camp 7/29/24
We are able to take these fees in person via check (Payable to Naaman Forest Band) or Cash.
For those who were able to pay in full in advanced, Thank You. Your expeditious payment allows us to provide more masterclass services at the beginning of the school year.
