Weekly Update (Sept 1 - Sept 7)
The Update:
Week three finished strong with a football win and a spirited performance by the band. Thank you parents for all your support for your students in our band program. Thank you for all the early mornings and late nights. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your wonderful children. Students, thank you for your dedication, determination, discipline, and pride. Please continue to stay on top of your business.

Update for our Vertical Raise Fundraiser: We have raised a little more than half of our goal at $5,798 total. The percussion section is still in the lead with $1,105 with the flute section trailing close behind at $1,090! We will provide chick Fil A’s chicken mini’s for the top ten raisers.
We have a slightly adjusted rehearsal schedule this week. After the Labor Day Parade, there is a rehearsal until 3:00PM. Stadium rehearsal Wednesday will be at HBJ this week with the same 7:00 PM pick up procedure at the stadium and as always we have a normal Thursday 3:30 - 6:30 PM at Naaman.
Students, be prepared to go outside during A1 W/F. Bring appropriate clothing.
Lastly, we have a Labor Day Parade + Rehearsal tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 2nd and an away football game against Princeton this Friday, Sept. 5th.

Supplemental Supplies
All members are required to bring the following supplies for band camp. These items will be used to feed and hydrate your students during the hot days of summer band.
Freshman: 2, 6 Gallons Gatorade mixes (Orange, Fruit Punch, Lemon Lime or Glacier Freeze) Bring TWO
Sophomores: 64 bottles of water (Size 16.9 Fl. oz)
Seniors: 1 pack of Nature Valley, 60 cts Granola Bars & 1 pack of Quaker 36 ct, Granola Bars

Reminder that the Remainder of our $200 band fee is due by band Camp 7/29/24
We are able to take these fees in person via check (Payable to Naaman Forest Band) or Cash.
For those who were able to pay in full in advanced, Thank You. Your expeditious payment allows us to provide more masterclass services at the beginning of the school year.
