Hannah Peterson is a native of Athens, GA, and grew up in public school band programs. Thanks to talented musicians who invested in her, she fell in love with the flute at an early age and has been pursuing music as a career ever since. She graduated with undergraduate degrees in Flute Performance and Music Theory from the University of Georgia and graduated with Master's degrees in Flute Performance and Music Theory Pedagogy from Southern Methodist University in December of 2022. Ms. Peterson began teaching while she was still in high school and has taught students ranging in age from 9 to 67! Middle school and high school students are her favorite, as they remind her of her own school band programs that are near to her heart. She is excited to work with young flutists at any level and hopes to cultivate the same love of music her teachers grew in her!

  • Alex Dubrov

    Trombone

Alex has been teaching beginner to advanced lessons on trombone, euphonium and tuba for 14 years. He enjoys to see his students improve and introduces them to fun music such as movie themes, jazz, rock, latin, etc. Alex encourages versatility in musical styles as it improves musicianship and keeps playing the instrument interesting. Low brass instruments generally have a background role in the band or orchestra. However, they are all very much melodic solo instruments and can be used to play pretty much anything. This discovery from way back in school has motivated Alex to keep playing and to share the love of music with his students.
