This week we have several events to celebrate our year in band and prepare for next year.

We have our End of Year Concert, hosting Middle School Concerts, the American Classic, and Drumline Auditions all this week!

    • Drumline Audition Clinic 3 from 5:00-6:30

    • Symphonic Band from 3:30-5:30

    • Hosting Webb MS Band Concert from 5:00-8:30

  • Wednesday

    • Drumline Send-Off for Choir from 1:00-1:15pm

    • Naaman Forest End of The Year Band Concert at 7:00pm, Student call time is 5:00pm

  • Thursday

    • Drumline Plays for GISD Signing Day from 9:30am-11:00am

    • Wind Ensemble Rehearsal from 3:30-5:30

    • Hosting Sellers MS Band Concert from 5:00-8:30

  • Friday

    • Hosting/Performance for American Classic Contest

      • Symphonic Band Performs at 1:00 with a Call time at 12:15

      • Wind Ensemble Performs at 1:30 with a Call time of 12:45

      • Attire: Symphonic Band wears Orange Show Shirt, Wind Ensemble wears Green Band Shirt, All wear jeans

    • Drumline Auditions from 4:00-7:30

  • Saturday

    • Band Registration from 10:00am-12:00pm

    • Drumline Music Camp 1 from 12:00pm-2:00pm

  • Sunday

Concert Band for the Week

Wind Ensemble will rehearse on Monday and Thursday from 3:30-5:30. Symphonic Band will meet on Tuesday from 3:30-5:30. Please continue to stay aware of communications from Mr. Falls and Mr. Choi for rehearsal plans.

Our End Of Year Concert is on Wednesday.

We are hosting our Middle School spring concerts on Tuesday and Thursday. Please complete this Sign-Up, to indicate which concert you will attend and participate in.

We are hosting and performing at the American Band Classic Festival this Friday. Symphonic Band performs at 1pm, and Wind Ensemble will perform at 1:30.

Jazz Band will not rehearse this week.

Drumline Audition Clinics, Audition, Band Registration, Music Clinics and May Camp

The process of setting the 2025-2026 Naaman Forest Drumline continues this Wednesday with our 2nd Audition Clinic. Please look over the updated percussion section in the members portion of this website and the links below for details on our upcoming events for those that will be a part of our group next year.

Audition Clinics are designed to prepare students for auditions. It is a time to explore new instruments and learn the audition expectations.

Drumline Auditions are when students demonstrate their abilities individually and are formally placed on an instrument in our drumline.

Music Clinics are meant to establish the fundamentals of our assigned instruments and we begin learning music as an ensemble.

The May Drumline Camp is designed to introduce the first portion of our show, cadences, daily warm-ups, and marching fundamentals as we prepare for the well deserved summer break. At the end of this camp, we are truly the 2025-2026 Naaman Forest Drumline.

Drumline Send Offs and Celebrations

It is the time of the year when groups invite our drumline to add energy to celebrations please note the upcoming performances:

Wednesday, May 7 - 1:00pm (End of A4) for Choir Send-Off

Thursday, May 8 - 9:30am-11:00am - for GISD Signing Day (at the CCC)

Students will be Field-Tripped out for GISD Signing Day as it is a district event. For campus celebrations, teachers will receive notice of the event for students that are not already in band during the celebration time. It will be teacher discretion to provide permission to attend these send-offs.
